How does inbound call forwarding work in Tuco AI?

Does inbound calling forwarding work within Tuco AI?

Yes. Your Tuco number works in both directions. Leads can call the same number they have been texting, and you will receive the call.

How it works

When a lead calls your Tuco number, we forward the call to a destination you choose:

  • A phone number you provide (your office line, a rep's cell)
  • Your existing phone system, including PSTN numbers or systems built on providers like Telnyx

Your team keeps answering calls exactly where they do today.

How to set your forwarding number

  • Existing lines: Raise a support ticket with support@tuco.ai or using the live-chat.

Routing to the right agent

If different leads need to reach different agents, forward the line into your own phone system and handle agent routing there. Your system receives the call like any other inbound call and can apply its normal routing rules.

Frequently asked

Is caller ID preserved on forwarded calls?
Contact support to confirm the caller ID configuration for your setup before you build routing logic that depends on it.

Can I answer inbound calls in the Tuco dashboard instead?
The dashboard dialer handles outbound calls in the browser.

For inbound, forwarding to a number or system you control is the supported path today.
