# Can I make and receive phone calls on my same iMessage Tuco Phone Number?

# Can I make and receive phone calls on my Tuco number?
Yes, both directions work on the same number your leads have been texting.

## Outbound calls

You can place calls using the same number through which you send an iMessage using tuco in three ways: 

1. **From the dashboard.** Calls are placed and answered directly in your browser. No desk phone, no second device.

1. **Through our API.** One request dials the lead from your Tuco number, rings your rep, and bridges them. Perfect for click-to-call from your CRM or phone system.

1. **On your own Telnyx account.** Verify the number as a caller ID in your own Telnyx and build calling however you want, with your own routing and billing. Contact support for more details.

In every case, the lead sees the exact same number they have been messaging with.
## Inbound calls

When a lead calls your Tuco number back, we forward the call to a number you choose, such as your office line, a rep's cell, or your existing phone system.

## Recording

Every call placed through Tuco is recorded and retrievable by lead number. 

## What is not allowed
Robocalling and auto-dialed voice broadcasts are not permitted. Calls must be human-initiated. See our policies section for details.
